Small Things Hardly Noticeable

"If you will stay close to nature, to its simplicity, to the small things hardly noticeable, those things can unexpectedly become great and immeasurable."  Rainer Maria Rilke

Have you ever had one of those days when you experienced true, heartfelt joy? Today is one of those days for me. The sun is shining, there's a warm breeze on my face, the birds in my backyard are chattering back and forth, and the contentment I feel brings me such a sense of peace. I'm always so grateful for these moments.

As I wandered through my front yard, I noticed that the lily of the valley are finally blooming. To me there is no more beautiful, delicate, and fragrant flower on earth. They're easy to miss if you don't look closely. So of course I grabbed my camera, fought off the bombarding bumblebees, and captured their delicate beauty to the best of my ability.

I pay attention to these moments. These are the times when I know all is well with my soul. For this day. And that is enough.

"For lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone. The flowers appear on the earth, the time of singing has come." Song of Solomon 2:11-12

Beautiful flowers and a lovely post. These are such an old fashioned flower that takes us back in time. We were plunged back into winter weather today but I was thankful to have a day to stay inside...warm and snug!

The are truly beautiful. Mine have sprouted but the delicate white bells have not appeared yet. I did a post on Lily of the Valley last year.It was the first year I had so many that I could cut several little bouquets. Wonderful photos.

Such beautiful photos! Lily of the Valley are my daughter's favorite flowers. She wanted them to be in her wedding bouquet this May but the florist told her they would be out of season by then. I'm going to try to find a few her wedding weekend..wish me luck!

Betsy, your photos of the lily of the valley are beautiful!!! I love those itty bitty flowers. And they smell so sweet! I used to have them growing by the back door in the first little house we lived in. I miss them.

Lilies of the Valley is such a sweet and welcome flower in my garden. I remember my mom and I singing every May, "White coral bells, upon a slender stalk; Lilies of the Valley deck my garden walk. Oh, don't you wish that you could could hear them ring; that will happen only when the fairies sing!" Mom is gone and now I sing it with my own 20 year old daughter. Mine are just starting to bud.... Thanks for the sweet springtime memories!

In our area these are considered invasive...at least at the park. I love their fragrance and simple vintage elegance. Special things do come in the small, and you have to look for them. Following you now..

I was diagnosed about 5 years ago with HIV and have lived taking ARV and thought of having Herbal medicine to cure this disease completely. I wouldn't be able to bear Vomiting and my tongue would go white because of these diseases called HIV/Aids. I learned to live with it but I have definitely prayed and had hands laid on me, My friends at work knew about my HIV Status so on a faithful day my friend Hannah talk to me about this great man called Dr Itua From west African because my friend Hannah is from West African too she came to acquire degree here in South Carolina, I accepted the challenge and contacted Dr Itua Herbal Center...drituaherbalcenter@gmail.com also chats on Whatsapp Number.+2348149277967. Then he delivered his Herbal medicine to me which was labeled as Dr Itua Herbal Medicine Cure For HIV/Aids, I took it as he instructed. After two weeks I went to the test and I was tested Negative. I'm still writing on every blog site related to the following diseases such as HIV/Aids, Herpes Virus, Shingles, Hepatitis B/C, Because he cures this kind of disease.
