Library Love

I don't know about you, but to me there's nothing more relaxing than sitting down with a good book and a cup of tea. One of my favorite quotes is from C.S.Lewis: "You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me."

I have a lot of books on my shelves at home, but there's nothing better than a trip to the library for new reading material. Free books--as many as you want. Bring them back and get some more! It doesn't get much better than that. I thought you might enjoy a picture from a recent trip to the library.

Yes, this was one trip! My daughter and I were loaded down. And if you're like me, you're probably scanning the titles--I love to look closely at pictures of people's bookshelves to see what they read.

I admit it, I'm a biblioholic. And there's no hope for recovery.

Betsy
I love my tea and my books as well!
Did you say free?
I can't imagine all those glorious books being free. We have a 10 cents and 25 cents rack, but nothing as nice as what you have.

Hi Betsy!
I'm not a tea drinker but I sure love a big cup of hot coffee while I read. I love books and love to read...I even love the smell of the library! :) I'm a big fiction buff especially southern writers. I like to get lost in a book and forget about reality for a while! lol

Hugs,
Hope

I totally agree with you, nothing beats a nice cup of tea and a good book to read.
I get most of my books from the library as well, they have such an interesting selection and like you say all for 'free'!
You sure got a great selection of books there..they will keep you busy :) Do share any interesting ideas you get from them :)
Happy Reading!! (I am off to the library this weekend)

Tea and a book, awesome! I have to share the quote with my daughter as she is always carrying a book around with her!
We love going to our local library book store, but they are 25 cents to a $1.00 which is still such a good buy! We also love our local Goodwill bookstore. They have coffee and cookies, and the kids love it!

Good for you, Betsy! Use your library, thats what its for. I hope there will always be free libraries! From the looks of your choices, you have a good library, too! I'm a librarian, so I am a little biased!! I have a kindle, love the computer, but nothing can take the place of a good mystery by the fireplace. Thanks for sharing.

I used to love to go to the library when I was little. Nel has to read so many books right now, as she is working on her Ph.D. She loves to read and has a whole library at home.

Hi,
I take my granddaughter and we are usually loaded down , too. She started taking two of her overnight bags that are wheeled so we could pull them instead of carry them. We love books!
